Well i just started work on a Vampire novel I decided to write and I was curious to know have their been any similar to what I'm planing to write about. It's a about a Vampire general whose entire kingdom is nearly obliterated by a ancient necromancer and I'm just curious to know what you guys think of the idea, and to tell me if I'm accidently ripping anyone off.

what if he removed the teen love,added vegas,made him the king of rock and roll,and called him smelvis parsley,or elvis presley,either ones good

As long as lots of people die in the story, it sounds good to me.

Just looka t it this way, you "sell out" from book one, thyen you get really rich, and then you say screw this selling out shit, i'm already rich now.
Then you can put more time and focus on the "real" books, so they'll be awesome.

If you're trying to appeal to a teen/young adult audience, I suggest reading Darren Shan for a good tutorial on how to do it.

I'm just writing the first chapter now if you want me to message it to you or something. I'm just writing it to prove what a good vampire novel is no matter how much I suck.
