1. Why are their so many of these "moral choice" questions that don't actually provoke thought or have a choice?

2. This is why snipers are used during hostage situations. To kill the person before they kill someone else. Once police are given probable cause that she will hurt someone then snipers will take their shot. This is what a sniper is trained to do. I don't know why this is difficult.

3. Here's how to make it difficult: the women is your wife and the child is yours that you have been trying for 7 years to conceive.

p.s. I still would.

Who are these people, do I like them?
Or are they a collection of people I don't like?
Clearly I would have to get a bio on each of them first.

That's exactly what I was thinking

I'd shoot her in the belly to make sure the baby dies first.
You might be able to save the baby, though it would probably have very deformed lungs and thus if it did survive no doubt its live would be very hard and possible very short.
I was born 2 months early and lived and am quite normal (except massive ADHD), but yeah...I was supposed to be born August 8, but was born June 17, and I turned out fine!

if its a clean headshot you can save the baby. Hell even a messy chest burster you can save the baby.

Paint the wall with her brains. If she cared about the baby she wouldn't be there, threatening people. Besides, it's my job to see to it that the hostages are safe, why else would I be on a vantage point with a sniper? Besides I am doing a favor to the child, imagine if that psycho had raised him. Also I am helping to control the overpopulation, yeah I went there.

Couldn't you just put a shot through her shoulder, it would disarm her and I doubt a pregnant mother would have the strength to keep going. If not I could shoot her other shoulder aswell. Then you know, 0% fatalitys.

If I could make a shot that disarms her, then I'd take it. If not, guess I'll have to kill her.

Trained sniper?

Alright, hand shot. Or head shot, and alert the emergency crew as to emergency fetus evac.

On the flip side--prison baby? Fuck that. Poor kid would be fucked up.

Cap that ho, say a peace upon the unborn.

Shoot her? I'd fake a sneeze while taking aim at her uterus. Then I'd go my bad and finish her off.

Really the only question here is how can I make killing her fun for me.

Yes I would take the shot. But only if it was obvious she was going to kill lots of other people and we had no other choice. We also could try to save the baby. It is very possible that it could be saved later on if proper precautions were takes such as having a life support on call right at the scene. A head shot could make that possible but not a body shot. That would most likely kill the child. In the end it would all be terrible no matter the choices made.

It's not a black and white decision, like you say. It's more like, risk a squad of police going in and noone dying, or shoot the girl and save 30 indefinitely.
