A VERY unusual thing, please explain

Okay so to explain myself, I'm a long time viewer of the Escapist website and I've noticed all these quizzes for games, so i saw one for Bioshock and decided to take it, so it said I had to register (which I then proceeded to do) funny thing, it tells me my email has been used for an account already, but I don't remember EVER making an account, so what the hell? Could someone have known about me and made an account? (apparently this account has been up since early 2006)

Or else someone stole your email.

Either way, if you can prove that the email is indeed yours, I'm sure the mods could delete the old account.

Edit: Did you check your inbox for a confirmation message of some sort?

Warcry Forums? They use the same account.

There are other sites which use the same logins namely Warcry and Ulimate Anime(I think it's called that) so if you registered with either then that could be why...

Yep, it's WarCry. Both sites use the same back end, so if you register for one, you register for the other.
