A Very, very scary Skyrim bug that is happening to me.

I suggest you load your latest save game, even if it's 10 hours ago. The bug is more likely to persist and not let you advance through some of the quests.

Something like this happened in Oblivion for me.

There's a mission where a small village gets destroyed, so I ended up fast traveling there. I see the burning house in front of me, and when I turn around I nearly pissed my pants.

There was about 4 of the dead villagers. None of them had eyes, and all where standing spread eagle. When I looked around, they all started floating backwards into a Rock at a moderate pace. I was wearing the night vision helmet, so everything was blue and incredibly creepy looking. It was very fucked up.

It was some sort of glitch where the dead villagers didn't get set properly.

Never did finish that mission.

I have a similar glitch with a dragon near Whiterun, every time I step outside the dragon corpse will come crashing down from the sky, and then 5/10 times it will glitch out even further and start rolling around.

Now I just need a mod that can detect it and play They see me rollin', they hatin' track.

Dude, that could qualify as a Creepy-Pasta kind of thing. A Lavender Town for 2011 or something! Maybe even a Tails Doll type of situation. Let us know if you're killed by mysterious means. I hope you aren't but it would make for a great urban myth.

That sounds awful. Although, one time I went to the basement/cellar of my house in Riften and one of my mannequins was floating in midair.
I left. They scare the shit out of me.

I heard of the same thing happen to a guy who tried to get married in the game and then then Lyidia's dead body showed up at his wedding.

I got a similar things with dragons. When I fast travel to Dawnstar ~10 dragon skeletons fall on me. Most of them were actually killed by the kajit caravan, and I just fired a few arrows and ate the souls.

As a modder, writer and someone who is learning music production, I have learned to always save constantly. There's nothing more irritating than working on complex geometry in Source only to have it glitch up and lose all your work. >:-[

A little while ago I recruited Athis of the companions as my follower.

During a trip to a dungeon, I swung my 2H Sword and accidentally killed him.

Here is whre things start to get a bit weird. First, when I went back to retrieve the items he was carrying, my game froze whenever I tried to.

Fair enough, probably just a minor bug.

I went to get a new follower, but none would come with me. They all said that I already have a follower.I went back to where he'd died, and his body was still there. Still, nobody will come with me. They all say the same thing.

The creepiest thing of all just happened. I walked outside the East Empire Company, and what was on the edge of the docks?

HIS BODY.

It will go quicker since you know where to go and what to do. You also might wanna try and space out your saves a little better.

I save about once every 4 minutes, autosaves are on, and I haven't had a single issue.

I love that this game can be saved a bunch and not corrupt like Oblivion did (for me, maybe nobody else, but surely for me).

I also ran into a bit of a glitch, a really awesome one. I made a Daedric warhammer, upgraded it, and enchanted it, so now it does 68 base damage, 56 fire damage, and 56 frost damage. I call it... Daedly Daedric Warhammer! Anyway, the glitch is that it apparently doesn't lose charge like other weapons. I can smack things to my heart's contempt and it stays permanently enchanted, no need to use soul gems... Oh well, I'm not complaining!
