Please be a Too Human 2, I really want to see them succeed in making a game for that franchise.

I liked Too Human, but it needed a few better major decisions, as well as more content.

How is this not a thread discussing the awesomeness that would be Dark Legions 2? I am 29, I am not supposed to feel this old. Get the hell off of my lawn!

I've never really played an original game by Silicon Knights. However Silicon Knights was involved in one of my favorite games ever, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, so I've never been able to hate them for what I've seen/heard about of Too Human and the like.

The Good LoK titles had nothing to do with them...they made the first, slightly okay-ish one. The others were all by crystal dynamics
They have something to do with all of them since they created the setting of Nosgoth and its lore.
I personally didn't like Raziel all that much and prefer playing Kain. Out of the two Blood Omens I have to pick the first due to its originality, length, and certain artistic decisions.

Still not sure why they stopped making legacy of Kain games or never made a sequal to eternal darkness sequal. They are both really strong games so why did they forget about them until now.

But if they do make another of either series it should be awesome

If they had done some of this in the first place, instead of their pet projects that went nowhere, maybe they could have saved a few employees.

Fuck that! Give us the next Legacy of Kain game. We need closure damnit, CLOSURE!

Plus, hearing Simon Templeman voice a badass vampire lord just never ever gets boring.

I read "currently refocusing and returning to its roots, working on one of its most requested titles for the next generation" as "we're going to let people believe we're making something they requested, then surprise them with Too Human 2". They are, after all, incompetent idiots who haven't done anything right for quite some time.

As long as that whiny, childish hack Dyack is at SK they will NEVER be able to make a quality game. Heck, Eternal Darkness wasn't even that good

Bring it, tincan, I got a pulse gun here with your name on it.
Commentary: oh, I do enjoy the ramblings of over confident organic meatbags. Perhaps I will give you a chance; when I fire my shot I will yell ?Surprise? giving you an at most a nanosecond to evade my attack. It will only be a 0.9 percent chance of success but I am very generous, given that I will have a 97.1 chance of hitting you in the centre of the forehead.

The other 2 percent you ask? Well that is the chance that you were spawned differently then other meatbags and instead of a quick death, it is a very slow and painful one.

Its a shame about SK having to shed those jobs, but there is such a thing as being over ambitious especially when you dont have the talents on hand to execute a vision properly. Dyack should take the opportunity to re asses his design methodology as obviously his approach has not been going down well and has resulted in negative repercussions.

Too Human got a bum rap for being having a radically different control scheme, not a bad thing in it's self but one that was made infinitely worse due to the lack of proper tutorials or training sequences. Its one of those games that once you actually learn how to play properly became very enjoyable. However you cant make something completely alien then throw players in the deep end without so much as a "how do you do". There were too many things in that game which were obfuscated from players, you cant very well expect good reviews for something especially when the reviewers have no idea how to play it!

I hope the SK get their act together otherwise their going to end up being just another footnote in the evolution of gaming if they havent become one already.
