A world without internet!!

So one day you wake up to find that the whole world has lost internet ( Kinda stealing this idea from south park) how do you think the world would cope and how would you??

No more online gaming, no more google, wikipedia, youtube, even no more escapist!!
no e-mails, which would mean that the worlds businesses would probably fall.

so what would happen?? and what would you do??

I can't envisage how the world would just "lose internet". It's not like it's some box you can misplace. I can't really provide an answer.

Also, I would probably try turning on my computer to see what everyone else was doing (Yes, I am that stupid)

Then maybe some TV until they fix the Internet.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. You'd still be able to transfer informations and everything and aeroplanes and whatnot, so it's not like traveling back in time. You just wouldn't be able to slack off in computer room classes.

If we just lost internet all communication lines would be cut, all of the banks would suffer huge hits, several dozen massive multi-national corporations would simply cease to exist, and it'd be much harder to get porn.

Basically the Western World might end for a while until we regress back a bit.

Good question. There used to be a time without games and the internet. I honestly can't remember what I did with my time back then.

Sometimes I think things could become easier that way. Before the internet people met friends in person instead of chatting with them over Facebook, they went to concerts instead of watching them on YouTube and didn't scan dating websites for the best offer. It's no wonder most 14 year old can't concentrate on things in i.e. school as in their spare time they are bombarded with media input from all sides and are used to a personalized environment.
