So if we have a game like, say Mario 64. That's 3D.
If we then go and make it 3D as in, have to ware silly glasses, is it now 3D-3D, or still just 3D?
Also, if we have a 2D games like old sonic, and give it 3D (glasses type) treatment... is it now 3D? Or 2D-3D? Or still just 2D?

It makes my mind hurt.

Yes I am being daft. But I felt like doing so in a public fashion.

Hmm... that's hard to say.

I guess they just call it Sonic Retro?Old?:3D to give the point that it is in fact in 2D but it's really 3D.

But if a game like Duke Nukem 3D was in 3D, it would be called Duke Nukem 3Dx2 or Duke Nukem 3D:3D.

Clearly you just multiply the D's.
A 3-D game in 3-D becomes 9-D, a 2-D game in 3-D becomes 6-D.
Gosh, the ignorance of some people...

Personally I would've thought it was an additive effect. Mario 64 would be in 6D whilst Sonic in 5D

...Blows my mind. This is how we are doing things from now on.
