Bane. He's my personal favorite of Batman's rogues gallery, though I can only list his most famous accomplishment when it comes to what he's done. This isn't about that though. In recent years, Bane has been portrayed as a brutish, barely intelligent moron. In Knightfall and it's following stories, he is portrayed as a calm, collected and patient man with great intellect. Additionally, in Knightfall he tended to use the Venom more as a turn-the-tides thing in fights, whereas modern depictions have him completely rely on it to obtain his muscle. I've only been reading 3 of DC's New 52, Batman, Batman: The Dark Knight, and Detective Comics ( though I dropped it). The way B:TDK is going, I'm only going to feel disappointment when Bane shows up in #6.
