Well there seems to be a mixed consensus on Brotherhood's multiplayer, some saying it's bad? Aside from the lack of an effective tutorial or any good explanation of the game mechanics not even in the manual(which is why there are still people out there who run up to their targets not understanding that gives them little points) it's good, most of the mechanics are self explanatory anyway.
In fact I liked it more then the singleplayer, because the multiplayer felt more like a STEALTH game rather than an action game with stealth bits in it, which feel unnecessary when the Assasin's can just kill everyone on their own without sneaking up on them. In fact it's sort of like the Dark Knight, once you step back and examine what happens it stops making much sense, like if say the Assasin's are some secretive organization no one knows about then why does EVERYONE during the renaissance know about them? From Cesare's own guards to common town folk to Cesare himself they seem to be a pretty well known organization, especially considering they go into open combat in crowded plaza's oh and in the new Revelations trailer TAKE ON WHOLE ARMIES! I mean nevermind there are posters of him everywhere whose to say IDK just one of the people who watched him massacre 10 guards go and write about their experiences? Or what if a relative of a dead guard decided to look into it and find out about the Assasin's?
Not saying the singleplayer sucks, the gameplay is fun as hell and the story albiet kind of bending everyone's intelligence to the Assasin's advantage was still interesting a bit. Aside from Da Vinci, nothing really is established unless I guess you read the background. But it still doesn't feel Assasin-y like the Multiplayer does, I mean I get a bigger kick out of playing Escort then using disguise to poison the VIP than I do out of poisoning every guard defending a painting I have to mark out of their sight.
