Fuckin', as if this game couldn't get worse (in terms of actual game play, not story) along comes the 8GB dlc that still can't function properly. Now, I know it's not really right to complain about free things, but this is just getting ridiculous. So I downloaded it and started playing, the game introduces a new mechanic in a lantern. Basically you need to keep a lantern lit in underground areas so that animals such as cockroaches, rats and bats will get out of your way and allow you to pass. Not a big fan of it, seems like a reason to extend the game's longevity but you know, seemed alright. And then I played the second mission and all went to fucking shit. After you find this person they run off to be a distraction of sorts and you've gotta go a different path. The path just so happens to have about 3 meters of bats just flying about and at the end is a waist high ledge, which ANYONE could easily just jump up onto, but the game insist on using the lantern to clear the bats, as Arno refuses to climb the ledge. So I go over to an oil refill bit to light the lantern and the button to use it doesn't work. I reload the checkpoint, same thing. I reload the entire mission. Same thing. I quit the mission, restart it get up to the same point. Same thing.

For fuck sake Ubisoft, you fucked up so bad on Unity that you cancelled the Season Pass and patched 3 times in it's first 2 weeks, HOW THE FUCK did you fuck up the DLC?

TL;DR: AC: Unity: Dead Kings has a game breaking bug that stops you from being able to finish it. Anyone else experienced this?

So is it like those bits in Uncharted 3 where the spiders would eat you if you didn't stay in the light? Because that was one of my biggest problems with Uncharted 3 and I don't particularly want to see it again.

Well, I never played Uncharted 3, but sorta. You gotta keep the light on to free run through them, otherwise he just covers his head and slowly moves forward.
