Is it just me or is everybody in that screenshot VERY pale?
Not only that, they are also all Harry Potter.

A wizard did it. No, really.

At the movie, we were searched for cameras and other devices. Someone wasn't doing their job right, but the guy who filmed it should face a bit of punishment.

And yeah, I did see it. Advanced screenings are awesome.

It will cost them more to lawyer up and prosecute than the ZERO dollars they are going to lose as a result. They should just save their fucking money.
What? Ok look if these people wanted to see the movie they should have waited payed the 10$ and see it, by downloading even 30min they are stealing from the hard working movie developers,

Tell me something if you could get something for free would you pay for it?
By virtue of having the internet, I can get movies and games for free just like everyone else, but I don't because it is stealing. Do I think this 36 minute clip is stealing? Sure it is and just as you said, people should wait to pay their $10 to go see it in the theater, if for nothing else than to be able to enjoy the movie by not having seen part of it.

However my comment was directed at the peacock posturing for a 36 minute leak that I highly doubt will effect movie ticket sales negatively. Stealing or not stealing, If they spend X to recover Y and X is greater than Y, they are wasting money and they are idiots.

Seriously, Potter fans make Twilight fans look sane. That's just all kinds of sad.
that is one ass-backwards statement.
As much as it pains me to admit it, I do know a few...eccentric Potter fans. They scare me sometimes.
ah, but do you know any Twilight fans (I hope not)? If you did, you likely wouldn't have made such a statement.

Let me put it this way, if you could see 1/4 of a movie you want to see would you watch the 1/4 instead of paying to see the whole movie? of course not.

Huh? I thought it had already premiered? A few of my friends have already seen it, and I sort of assumed it had already come out.

If you can see a movie by virtue of knowing the theater manager, it's hardly a big deal that other people can see 36 minutes of it by going online.

Best quote of the day! =D

Well, I do need to catch up, the last book/movie I saw was The Prisioner of Azkaban and I'm too lazy to read the books, so the movies will suffice.

Skratt definitely has a point tho. The same ppl who downloaded the first 36 minutes are gonna be the same ppl going to see the movie when it comes out so it doesnt really matter. If WB loses more than $150 because of this I'll be surprised, and if theyre complaining about that when they literally gonna make millions off of this, then they need to reassess their values. Just beef up your own security so it doesnt happen again and stfu so it doesnt get attention drawn to it. In fact just because of its cliffhanger nature itll probably net them MORE money cuz now other ppl might see it and be interested.

They're one in the same (my friends, that is). Only, Potter is the dominate fandom in the relationship.

Anyone so desperate to see 36 minutes of the film a day before it's out is going to be the kind of person who sees this 3 times in theaters. I don't think the studio needs to worry about their box office sales on this.

Wise words!

Guess it was just to create an underground hype so people can watch even more.
Can't wait to see it and because I have two end of year trips, I'll be getting to see this twice!

In what bass-ackwards universe is fans eagerly clamoring for and sharing a 36-minute sampler anything less than the best kind of free publicity? Give it a few weeks and we'll catch a headline that the leakers have been sued by Warner Brothers to the tune of 85 billion dollars or some such ludicrous number.

And they wonder why pirates don't take copyright laws seriously <_<
