I was playing some Halo: Reach (don't kill me), and I jumped off a high distance, head shotted 3 people with the sniper, and used my jet pack to save myself from damage, and proceeded to headshot. It was actually my best moment in the game. I was then accused of "DOOD WTF YOU CAN'T BE FUCKING SERIOUS THIS FUCKER IS SUCH A HACKING LITTLE ******!!!". I laughed to myself knowing that I was just that good. Next game, though, I had a KD of -12, so I guess it balanced.

LoL, like that Utube vid, my best was probably on BF BC2 when i was in a clan for around a month, i would headshot people from 1/2 to 2/3 of the map away, while they were running, (ie: had to aim over a cm above and to the side of them), then one of the guys who checks the "kill-cam"[worst idea ever] decided to call hacks on me, well their whole team was being roled by the clan i was in, admin being clan leader... needless to say, he was kicked, then when he came back and try'ed to greif, "banned".
Also being a ninja sniper, hiding behind the attackers base in RUSH and just mortar'ing/sniping/giving their locations is uber HAX, although they called hax after i ran out of sniper ammo, knifed one of their snipers who was camping in their base, got out unharmed and went back to my spot.

ALL THE TIME!
My friend and I had a 2 v 2 Game Battles group for CoD4 and we had a lot of matches where the other team called in a judge accusing us of hacks.
Firstly, I dont even know how to because I've never cared to look them up. And Second, not my fault that we were good :)

So far I haven't had any of those in SCII because I suck horribly at it (almost got out of bronze league but now I'm back to rank 80 because of a losing streak... stupid zerg rushes)

[quote="Nova5" post="9.242203.8783784"On a separate note, they still do call it the "CV-47" (Chinese Variant Model 1947)... In the older release of Counter-Strike v1.4 (pre-source), the guns were labeled with their correct companies, models, and calibers. Not so much any more. I still cringe when kids call the Steyr Aug the "Bullpup".[/quote]
I so feel your pain... Being a complete gun nut, I'm at the point of stabbing my own ears when people the made-up names that some games give the rifles. I know it's silly to be like that, but I just can't help it I'm very picky on the things I know =3.

I get called hacker and cheater every time I'm on some lucky kill streak or just having a decent kill death ratio (5:2 or 3:1). But this doesn't happen often, as I said, when I'm lucky.

I used to get kicked off Counter Strike Source servers all the time..

My favourite one was this french server, destroying the opposing french team and listening to them babble on about me hacking in the french accents. Good times.

24-0 sniping streak on Skidrow in Modern Warfare 2. They all accused me of hacking and I didn't have Nuke assigned and had gotten higher streaks in the past so I just ran out into chopper fire to prove that I wasn't.

I used to be pretty damn good at counter strike source so I have been called a hacker more than a few times. Team Fortress 2 is always my favorite, people can't accept that I may be a better spy or sniper than them.

Oh, I'm happy. I just got accused of hacking in a 1v1 in StarCraft 2. It just made my day. Big ol' banana grin.

It was 1v1 against a platinum Terran. I rolled my usual Protoss. Didn't do anything cheesy. Just a standard 2 gate-robo- to expand. Didn't even rush at all. So after a couple minutes, the Terran pushes out with 2 tanks, 3 medivacs, and about a bunch marines/marauders. By then i had several immortals and bunch of gateways units. I was fine. My observer was traveling with his army, so i knew exactly where he was and when to strike. My sentries split his army in half with FF, the immortals absorbed damage from the tanks and marauders, while my zealots and stalkers killed everything. It wasn't even close. He lost 40 food and i lost about 20.

Now, for those who don't play starcraft, the above is a very typical Protoss vs Terran battle. Even if he had attempted to micro his units, he was stuck between a force field and my units. Nothing he could do.

But here's the best part. He starts whining. "Impossible!", I reply with "Not really". Then he goes on about how all his units could attack and that he had tanks and medivacs. AND MARAUDERS!!! Like that special combination was unbeatable... Then he accused me of some kind of hack. Not sure what kind he was talking about, but apparently i was using the mystical hack that makes terran opponents do stupid things.

After getting called a hacker, i knew that i had the game in the bag. So instead of trying to finish the game, i just took a 3rd base, and prevented him from expanding. a couple minutes later, he's out of minerals. So he loads everything into dropships and heads to my base. He tried to drop everything in a tiny open space between buildings where only a couple marines could fit. I take everything out while they are still in the drop ship. Pretty standard.

Then he accuses me of hacking again. and then rage-quits.

I consider myself to be a manner player. i don't taunt my opponents. I usually say gg. And i don't get personal pleasure from the idea of crushing my opponent. I normally think 'well, perhaps i am getting better'.

But something about being accused of hacking caused a swell of pride. I love that i destroyed him and enraged him enough to find some other explanation for his defeat. It just made me happy. It's not a nice feeling. I try to avoid Schadenfreude.

I don't know why, but getting accused of hacking in an online game made me feel grateful to be playing the game at that moment, against that opponent. Like i finally accomplished something. Then i remember it's just a game.

What about other people. ever get accused of hacking because of your performance? What did you do and what did it feel like?
That sounds pretty awesome, I can't get my head around actually acting on all those little strategies in SC, but I can certainly appreciate them.

In CS I once got called a hacker because in De_dust (1 I believe) it was just me verse 2 guys who were friends (yeah server was deserted and my friend had just left before they came in) and when going under they were up on that ledge thing and shooting at me, I shot them both in the head. They said it was impossible that I managed to shoot them both in the head, I continued to say it was the only part of their ****ing bodies that was visible, so I couldn't hit anything else.

Really it cause more frustration than anything else, I'm not even good at CS. (well, most of the time)

btw: If you want to brag, or wouldn't mind someone checking out your replays, send me a PM please.

Many, MANY times on Heroes of Newerth. Especially when using Pebbles (Tiny in DotA).

As those who play knows, his chuck-stun combo does close to a thousand damage, and most players would only have around 1200 hp at that point of the game, making a Pebbles player instagib them. MANY people know this, but it doesn't stop them from calling hacks.
Never, ever seen a Pebbles player get called a hacker, although back in closed beta, I was accused a few times of maphacking as Devourer. Sick hooks were had.

I got called a hacker in Monster Hunter 3 for killing a Gobul by hitting it's lantern, thus finishing both a subquest and the complete quest. He said I was cheating, I couldn't see how...

Also, I got a lot of that in RuneScape in the Wildernes (old skool style), but I just had a lot of free time on my hands...

I don't really think it matters spoken which it is. Nobody really likes to play with/against either type.
What do you mean by that. I have no problem at all with people who are new to games being on my team. If everybody treated them like shit which most people do then they would just quit. But if people are actually nice to them and help them out it increases the player base and some of them can actually become really good players.
I was pretty much just saying the most player bases are intolerant of unskilled people for any reason.

Nothing much springs to mind. I've doubtlessly been called a hacker by people in TF2 for having the sheer gall to kill them as opposed to standing there patiently whilst they desperately try to work out that holding the huntsman back FOREVER does not make it uberpowerful (in fact, it makes it innaccurate after a while)

I've been banned from mulitple CSS servers for "hacking". It happens to anyone who spends a decent length of time playing the game really. The problem now though is that hacks are getting ridiculous. There is a private cheat that vibrates your phone when an enemy enters your field of view, basically allowing you to wallhack at lan. Cheaters are going to massive lengths and costs to be able to cheat. There are cheats that cost hundreds of euros to buy yet they still have thousands of subscribers. It's pretty much safe to say that any server you go onto these days will have at least one hacker on it.

I hate being a Spy in Team Fortress 2. But I'm good at it.

Each life earns me at least one sapper laid and two backstabs. And, usually thanks to the noobishly overpowered Cloak and Dagger, I can stay hidden and escape easily.

People who run for the first backstab they can get, backstab in front of a Sentry Gun or in front of the entire other team accuse me of speedhacking and unlimited cloak, even though hardly anyone know the Cloak and Dagger regains cloak if you stand still while cloaked.

I once found a sweet combination of sniping spots in TF2 (I like to have more than one to move between every so often to spread revenge attempts) in which I had the tiniest of spaces to see through and take shots from. Got a few 'omgwallhax' whiners after the first few kills, which made me feel pretty good about myself. If someone think s the only way you could possibly beat them is by cheating, you're doing the game a favour by deflating their ego a little.
I've pulled the same on Mag. In Mag, a good sniper is a God.They can blast you apart while you're just a spec away, and sniper rifles are one of the only guns that can kill 1-2 shots to the chest. A sub machine gun and even a heavy gunner needs to fire into the chest for a ferw second to kill someone.

I fould this tiny spot in a fence, and since no one's reticule was falling directly on my person, no one knew I was there. I could pick people off at my leisure.
