Ace Attorney Series.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Ace Attorney series, but while looking into it a bit closer I see that their are five games, the first of which I can't find online in the UK. So my question is, are they all linked story wise or can I pick one up and still have fun with it?

I played the first one and liked it. I've also played the latest one, the one where you play as Miles Edgeworth, and I was fairly disappointed. Just the same recycled game with minor differences.

I don't know about all the games, but these two aren't that much story related, except for a few character references, so there isn't any need some background knowledge. Basically, I think all the games can stand on their own feet.

Just get the first Phoenix Wright. it's the best and gets the most laughs.

Yes, absolutely play them in order. I suppose if you jumped in somewhere, you could probably catch on, and I'm not sure if Apollo Justice is significantly connected to the others, but your experience will be amazingly better if you start with the first one. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is an amazing game: despite the stunningly intense and memorable final case of the second game, I think the first is still my favorite.

Yes, I absolutely demand that you play them, or at least the first one, which is one of the best games you'll ever play. I'll admit I haven't finished the second or third, but play them anyways.

Also, I'm an anomaly in the fanbase because I liked Apollo Justice. Don't get me wrong, it's not as good and the original cast beats the new guys one-handed (I loved how they kept Gumshoe, though), but I somehow didn't hate Apollo (though Phoenix owns him easily) and still had a good time. Besides, at least it doesn't have case 2-3 (god damn you Moe the clown and your horrible, penalizing jokes!).

Play all of them except Apollo Justice, which is awful. I don't know about Investigations though.

I haven't gotten a chance to play this one yet, what's bad about it?
