Ace Combat Assault Horizon E3 trailer

You don't get much Ace Combat news on this site, but IGN has Namco's E3 trailer for Ace Combat Assault Horizon. It's a pretty kick-ass trailer. I was kind of put off by the Call of Duty feel about it, but then 2:50. I was simply floored. The game looks absolutely GORGEOUS, and fun as all hell. So what do you guys think? I mean I've been an Ace fan since Air Combat for the original Play Station, so I'm hardly an unbiased source, but man am I looking forward to this game.

Looks amazing. Hopefully, the story will have less Angels this time around, and more ... oh nevermind... look it's Makarov's less successful twin. I'm going to miss the fictional world Ace Combat was set in.

So they're leaving behind their modified world to ours. Russians/Americans/whoever else. I like Yuktobonia and Osea. Well guess the only difference is in name.
Looks kick ass being able to fly choppers, gona have to be a game to ask for Christmas if it's out by than. otherwise B-day next year.

Hmmm...I'm very intrigued. The flight still looks arcadey, but I wasn't expecting a flight sim really.

WANT!! So much want. While I will miss their alt. universe it looks like its on its way to surpassing AC 6: Fires of Liberation. They better keep the same composer for the music. His stuff for the series has been incredible.

Damn, that is a pretty remake of Call of Duty 4- oh, wait, that wasn't CoD? Because I could have sworn that they used practically the exact same setpieces as the CoD games. I mean, they even have a guy with a skull balaclava on! Seriously, dudes, c'mon!

Still, I am loving the new combat system. All that carnage and shrapnel will surely quench my thirst for flaming jet fuel. I played Ace Combat 4 and I loved it, though I never got the feeling that I was playing it "right", you know?

Co op please. Take a page from H.A.W.X (then burn the rest of the book in my opinion) and give us story co op. I love these games, since they're the closest thing the Star Wars fighter games out there. More than a little disappointed that it's moving into our realm of existence though. I liked the made up countries, even if they were obviously based on ours.

I'll miss the old ISAF, OSEA, Yuktobania, Gracemaria Missions in the weird other "Earth" world but I like the real world story.

I'm loving all the new Aircraft like the UH-60's, AC-130 and was that the B1B and the B2, Oh please tell me we get to fly those ^___^

With all the new aircraft it could open up for some interesting Multilayer; Maybe escort the AC-130 to it's target or maybe some Apache on Apache combat in the middle of a city.

I've been playing Ace Combat games since "Air Combat" on the PS1 and I always hoped for Multiplayer but now, it seems since AC6 it's active for a week or 2 then it just fades away.

I hope it doesn't happen to the same with Assault Horizon

And how come that "Cinematic" trailer had a shitload more gameplay footage than a majority of "gameplay" trailers?
