Bad thread maker. Bad!

Not only has this been done before very recently, but you didn't add links, no specifics. Hell you didn't even bother to offer your own views on this subject.

Edit: For prospective posters might I offer a few links?

I hear it doesn't effect UK? If so yay me.
Even if the UK did not have to abide by the terms of the treaty the fact that the US which is the largest chunk of English language websites and the location of the vast majority of the top traffic websites has to would effect you immensely. That's not even considering that Europe, Australia, Canada, and many others are also signing this thing.

Edit: I wanted to make it clear that the I understand that the UK as to abide by the treaty as well. I was just making the point that this is going to change things for everyone, even people in countries that are not signing this thing.

I go on deviant art is deviant art now illegal?
Um.......Not sure about that. But it is more than likely.
They would ban a community art website just to stop pirating. isn't that going to far especially when the artists can choose whether the download button is made for the image in question.
