... Fuck. Never. Never scare me like that again. After seeing what Activision did to Guitar Hero and Spyro... I... I... I feel unclean... *Goes and cries in corner*

OT: If Sega bought Nintendo. That... Would be bad. Very Very bad.

I died a little inside when I saw the name of the thread.
I never want to see another preacher outside a university preaching. It gets fucking annoying to the point where I want to sream ''Gooo aaawwwaaay'' at them.

Developers give in to whiners, will only make "classic, hardcore, inaccessible" games from now on.

Activision puts CoD on Battle.Net

Kotick has actually been trying to do just that for some time now.
What is battle.net and what's wrong with COD being on there?

Insomniac goes out of business. That would mean no more Ratchet and Clank, and that would make me a sad panda.

scared me there...
Activision Buying Rockstar,
EA continuing to live,
Bungie making another mindless shooter, and getting praised for it,
TF2 servers shutting down,
2K dieing,
see, I'm paranoid

Battle.net is Blizzard's online service for WC3, SC, and SC II.

Soul Calibur 2 is on Battle.net? THAT'S AWESOME. I hope it's the one with link. Anways, I think CoD would be a strange choice to put on there, as it's an MMOFPS, but I don't think it would be a bad one.

No Portal 3.
No new Half-life.
No new Minecraft.

Just make all new IP's, so when i tell people that I like Minecraft and Half-Life I won't get laughed at. I'll then proceed to not buy their games again.

Well Activision is owned by Vivendi. Vivendi happens to be Valves publisher, so in a way they already do control Valve.

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millenium Online becomes a 2 faction game just to spite the lore and the fanbase for no apperant reason and tries to be a WoW killer, following in the footsteps of the insanely amazing Warhammer Online.

Oh wait...

http://www.darkmillenniumonline.com/ <--- Read Game Info (Eldar and SM vs Chaos and Orks.)

(Note I like Warhammer Online but... they just seem to keep kicking it in the nuts every time they update it.)

Holy crap, I though this was legit news... You scared me there.

I never want bland, gritty, FPS's to become so mainstream that they drown out the rest of the industry (or creative FPS's either).
