Am I the only one who enjoyed Project 8?
Still, 3 was the best. I really should go re-buy that at some point...

And as for the comment above.. When Call of Duty STARTS to lose its luster? STARTS?! That day has been and gone.

Here's an idea as to why it's not selling:
Maybe your game just aint good!

The last time I even touched a THPS game was #2 on the 64. Even then it wasn't that enjoyable. I think I only played it to listen to Rage against the Machine while I played.

Then I realized I had a discman.

Iive never really gotten the whole skate culture, just never appealed to me, but then it seems to be dieing off in general now, you don't see as many skaters about in general, so maybe the sales are dieing not just cause the games are all the same with shiny graphics, but just because skaterboarding has died down on the coolness factor.

Circle of popculture, things go in and out of fasion...

Jack: I'm pretty sure it's freezing out there.
If its literally freezing then you can take that new plastic board they have for the game and do some snow boarding?

"No! Really! Tony Hawk's is still totally relevant guys! Wanna come over and play some? I got this killer kickflip combo earlier...guys? Guys where're you going? Guys, come back! Let me tell you about this awesome chain I got! "

Let it die guys. It can join the games which should've been left behind, along with Tomb Raider and Duke Nukem.
no no no dont let it die turn it into Tony Hawk Supreme Skating Commando
hes a man on a mission that can only be done by using his shredding abilities and his guns

For some reason publishers always deny that when the game isn't good but burn it at the stake when it is good :/

I'm no expert, so I could just be saying pure BS here, but I have 3 ideas why it's no longer selling.

1. I only bought Pro Skater 3. It was great. It was fun. It was enough. Why would I buy any later versions ? 3 did the job well enough.

2. Isskateboarding itself as relevant as it was ? Back in the day yea it was definitely relevant. But now a days skateboarding just seems like just another thing. People still do it. But I don't remember hearing anyone talking about it when I was in school. Yea I knew a few people that did. But the most I ever heard was "wanna skateboard to the mall" or whatever.

3. Toney Hawk, I'm no follower of the skating scene. But I'm pretty sure he's not exactly a top figure anymore. Like John Madden, his name was put in the title when he was relevant. But now it's just a recurring punchline that the game can't get rid of because it woukd cause confusion.

All I can really say is that maybe skating video games just arnt popular anymore. Wait... That's it. Nobody WANTS to play these games anymore.

PATCH ME THROUGH TO THE KING OF VIDEOGAMES !!!
