So an extra $100 for a little RC car? There were a bunch of those available at some point, and for considerably less than $100. Did I mention they looked cooler? [http://www.geekalerts.com/rc-car-with-video-camera-and-laser-game/]
Sorry for the bit dated link, I don't have time to search for more current pre-built models right now. You can get a mini camera for ~$40 and attach it to an RC car/helicopter/plane though.

Exclusive co-op maps?!? Bastards... I might have to shell out the extra 20 bucks.. Spec ops was basically all I played in MW2.

Well the exclusive content is a waste of time, as transformers has proven, and I doubt the avatar outfit won't be offered on market places, so £20 for early acess to DLC, no thanks. The RC car though...now thats extremely kickass. It ain't worth £100 though.

Anyone else notice the controller for this one looks exactly like a red dreamcast controller?

All I have to say is screw you activision. Thats just mean and breaking of the tradition right there. So far all the collectors editions of basically every game have been useless crap that doesnt effect the game at all. Now you want to throw in exclusive co-op multiplayer maps. Well you can burn in hell, or if we want to speed things up I think we need alittle molatov cocktail action.
Erm...New Vegas which offer four outfits which are preorder only and offer weapons and armor? H.A.W.X 2 which offers for preorders an early release of a plane and a exculsive weapon kit? There is much more, and lets be frank, it'll be the case for ever. Looking back at transformers, an activision game, exclusive characters which had been preorder only, were offered as DLC a month later.

Hate to piss on your parade, but it's just not good business sense to seperate your player base by exclusive content, and since activison are only in it for the money...

Everyday that passes I want Black Ops more and more...

But Halo: Reach and Fallout New Vegas are top priority, dammit!

Considering that the series started on PC, since CoD5 they have gone against us in favor of another system... wonder which one?

Bastards...
PS3 have avatars as well, and I doubt very much it's exculsive considering most avatar outfits come out before the damned game. Besides, do you really care about an avatar outfit, on your PC? I'd rather have much faster patching and dedicated servers, then some poxy outfit.

Well, this game has been added to my "Never buying" list. PC version is, once again, $60 instead of $50, no prestige edition, and even the Wii version is only $50. Greedy pricks.
Erm...a quick look on shop2net, and it's £34. Same price on play.com and Amazon. 360 and PS3 prices are £10 more. So your right, you have to pay $60, but 360 and PS3 players have to pay $70. Where did you get that pricing from?

I checked Best Buy and Gamestop online, both said PS3, 360, PC were $60 and Wii was $50.

Wow, really? Thats an incredible con! Surely they can't get away with that pricing, otherwise everyone would go to Amazon, or other sites?

I doubt it. People still went to buy Metro 2033 from retail stores and Steam when it was $50 on PC, even when you could preorder it off Newegg for $37.

Uh.... great. If you like RC cars I guess, then go for it. I'm not going to tell people what to do with their money.

Jeez I hope you're not serious. Are you a shareholder in Activision-Blizzard? No? Did any of your money to towards developing the game? Well, did it?

If not, you don't have any right to complain. Legally, you have NO RIGHT AT ALL to tell Activision how to make, market or manage a game THEY MADE, with THEIR MONEY. Don't like it? THEN DON'T BUY IT! I'm not! I'm not buying Black Ops at all! I've lost interest with COD. But others haven't and if they want to buy it, then let them. In fact, morally, you have no right to play their game for whatever price you want.

Oh you can wail and whine and moan about the "direction" the industry is headed in, the "slippery slope" that it is headed down - but at the end of the day:

VIDEOGAMES.ARE.LUXURIES.

Yeah! You DON'T have a RIGHT to play video-games cheaply! Videogames are NOT air, water or food or the democratic right to vote. Video-games are electronic fun-programmes for people to play in their leisure time.

It is comments like this that really make me laugh. We have people, all over the world, fighting for genuine rights - like the right to vote, the right for a fair trial, you know IMPORTANT STUFF!!!!!

And yet here they are - the wailing crowd, proudly holding up the banner for VIDEOGAMER RIGHTS! Stuff the cause of universal sufferage or an end to disease, or access to cheaper medicine - the REVOLUTION will be founded by teenagers complaining that they can't afford their latest Call of Duty!!

Do any of you realize how SILLY you sound? I mean, in the context of how large the world is!?

Don't buy Black Ops if you don't like the price. I certainly don't. Does it suck that the co-op maps might be pay-for-play? Yeah, it does. And I'm not going to buy it.

But seriously - burning down things just because you don't like the price is childish and a sure sign of a complete simpleton acting out because he/she can't get their way.

It's JUST.ONE.GAME. DEAL WITH IT. LIVE YOUR LIFE! Go outside! Eat an ice-cream cone! Swim in the sea! Laugh with family and friends!

I like video-games to, but I know that they are luxuries. To have your life revolve around video-games, to the point where you threaten to use Molotov Cocktails just because you don't like a pricing, is sad. Really, really sad. I mean, REALLY SAD.

I could care less about the prestige editions for the PC. All I want to know is if Black Ops is going to have mod tools. We already know that it is going to have dedicated servers (which already makes it far superior to MW2), but I don't think they have said anything about mod tools.

I should pick one of those RC cars boost the signal and drive it around town and eventually into a school or Police station...

You had to see that coming...
