Activision stated that they may drop support to Sony and their PS3 for the PS3 is too costly at $400.
Quote ?They [Sony] have to cut the price, because if they don't, the attach rates are likely to slow," Kotick told the newspaper [Times Online]. "If we are being realistic, we might have to stop supporting Sony. When we look at 2010 and 2011, we might want to consider if we support the console ? and the PSP too.? Unquote

I don't know why Activision wants to drop Sony but my suspision is to be on the gamers side and pressure Sony lower their price. The thing is, gamers (in my eyes) are better off coughing up the extra doe for the PS3 yet the price is still a little high, bring it down to $300 or something.

The PS3 is better made then the 360 and has much less hardware problems, pus it has a blue ray player (which may not be that much better than normal DVD but its gotta count for something), and it comes with free internet while you have to pay for the Xbox Live. All together your acually paying about the same price for both in the long run it's just the PS3 is better made.

I have used a Xbox 360 and a PS3 so I know their rises and falls, so don't say I'm dissing the 360 because im a Sony Fanboy because I'm not. I just had some terrable experiences with the 360. (I.E. getting the RROD and having to be charget $200 to repair because I was a loal customer for more than a year, so instead I just got a PS3)

What about the obvious graphic differences (and please no graphics don't make the game since that doesn't apply we are talking quality here) between the two versions of the game like Ghostbusters? How many angry letter were fired off by Sony fanboys bitching about it. How tarnished is thier rep because of this? And how many future sales will this fiasco cost them? It is a hefty price to pay for the bottom console in the marketplace.

Activision is every bit as evil as EA, but I agree with them, Sony does need to cut the price.

who cares, when was the last time activision made anything worth mentioning?
Infamous Prototype. It's a pretty cool game and it ports to PC perfectly (I know, I had a hard time believing that too). It has some serious cheese in some of the military gibber speak and some of the plot devices are too obvious, but the game is fun and the web of intrigue is interesting.

you mean prototype, right? I played it for PC and didn't really enjoy it that much. although it is selling fairly well. Also, there is this:

*grin* My Prototype installed perfectly, but I have the PC port.

Yeah, I meant Prototype, but we were talking about PS3 so Infamous came to mind.

*High five*

It is better with a 360 controller, but I have one so no problem there. One of my favorite games easily.

I plugged an X-Box 360 controller into my USB port as well, works like a charm. Like I said, perfect port :)

AC2 better work as well as Prototype in Controller friendliness for the amount of fucking hype it gets and for how shit PC controls are for POP and Prototype already.
