Activision stated that they may drop support to Sony and their PS3 for the PS3 is too costly at $400.
Quote ?They [Sony] have to cut the price, because if they don't, the attach rates are likely to slow," Kotick told the newspaper [Times Online]. "If we are being realistic, we might have to stop supporting Sony. When we look at 2010 and 2011, we might want to consider if we support the console ? and the PSP too.? Unquote

I don't know why Activision wants to drop Sony but my suspision is to be on the gamers side and pressure Sony lower their price. The thing is, gamers (in my eyes) are better off coughing up the extra doe for the PS3 yet the price is still a little high, bring it down to $300 or something.
The PS3 is better made then the 360 and has much less hardware problems, pus it has a blue ray player (which may not be that much better than normal DVD but its gotta count for something), and it comes with free internet while you have to pay for the Xbox Live. All together your acually paying about the same price for both in the long run it's just the PS3 is better made.
I have used a Xbox 360 and a PS3 so I know their rises and falls, so don't say I'm dissing the 360 because im a Sony Fanboy because I'm not. I just had some terrable experiences with the 360. (I.E. getting the RROD and having to be charget $200 to repair because I was a loal customer for more than a year, so instead I just got a PS3)
