In my ponderings I had an idea that I thought might be good. I wondered what it would be like to have a more interactive series on the site. I've been watching some of the Escapist exclusive videos lately and thought it would be very cool to have an interactive series where, for example, the members here would vote weekly on what would happen next, or maybe ideas for the next eppisode were garnered via a thread and featured the next week, with the fetured user recieving a badge and a mention in the credits.
It may not sound good to some, and it may be possible that it wouldn't work, but I think it would be fun to have here. Of course, there are competitions that get the users involved and some even get featured in the letters to the editor each week, but does anyone else think it would be cool to have an interactive series?
Also, if anyone has any other nice ideas that they think would add to the enjoyment of the site I propose that this be the place to let them be known. I'm not a mod or staff member in disguise, so I'm not suggesting any ideas will be heard, but I thought it might be nice for users to have a more active role in suggesting content and recieving badges for successful suggestions. It's a great way for us to let our ideas be known and it's great for the Escapist team as they are getting a wealth of great ideas free if this thread ever takes off.
