Chocolate milk. I'll drink about two and a half gallons a week. I used to have a hardcore WoW addiction, but now I only play a few hours a week.

Tea. I have like a hundred different kinds. No joke. It fills two drawers in my kitchen. I'm always looking for new kinds to try. The English tea shop down the road from me closed down. I think they closed because I was away for a week. Now I am so sad.

And I need my tea to fuel my other addiction, Video Games.

Video games, breathing, inappropriate thinking, cigarettes (I really need to quit that), eating, using the bathroom, porno, and saying stupid/inappropriate things. I'm also falling prey to an addiction to the forums here, but I like to think I have that under control.
And much like Furburt, I recreationally enjoy a non-opiate substance. I could never get a taste for Vicodin... tends to make me sick. I can't say I'm addicted to caffeine because I can't tell if it still has an effect after all these years. I can't remember ever having a sugar buzz, but if you take a handful of caffeine pills at once, within about an hour you start to see some really weird things and talking at a hundred miles an hour. Then you throw up for a few days.
I avoided the temptations of WoW since it began, I've never even tried a free trial of that junk. Seems like a nasty thing to recover from. Surprised no one said they are addicted to their Ipod or Iphone yet.

Anime, every day I watch at least 8 episodes of anime and spend most of my time on this site.
It's probably a good thing I don't know of that many animés, when I find a good one I'll just keep watching and watching... Full metal alchemist was the most notable one for that, though I watched about 12 episodes of claymore in one go recently...
Same thing with me. When I find a good anime I watch it until my eyes bleed. Then I get the gauze and Vicodin and keep going. I'm very lucky I don't know of a lot of good ones.

I didn't realise how addicted I am to video games till I gave them up for this Lent. 1 week gone and I'm already struggling.

I also gave up tea. Tea and video games! That's probably half my day given up!

Pretty much addicted to music, I need to listen to some of my music collection every day or I get annoyed. I went on a week long 95 mile hike once and had no mp3 player or such, I was going crazy by the end of it, just tried humming as many songs as I could remember to myself

Oh, let me count them...
-Pokemon
-Redwall
-Any game by Bioware I've played
-Borderlands
-OJ+Sprite drink
-Snack foods(still struggling)
-WoW
-T3h intarwebz at large

That's most of the ones off the top of my head. For the games, it was however long it took me to do one playthrough. Obviously, this led to some problems with WoW. No substances, and I intend to keep it that way. Addictive personalities run in the family.

I was really really addicted to the Lord of the Rings Online Encyclopedia one summer. I must have read three quarters of the articles and entries on here.

For people looking to be addicted, it's at http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/.
Oh. My. God. Thank you. I know what I'm going to be looking at for the next few weeks.

OP: Sleeping, working, video games, web searching, and porn. The first two are oxymorons and the last two are intertwined. I think I'm sensing a pattern here...
