Okay, so when I really get into a game I play it endlessly, I play it so much that when I'm lying in bed at night, ready to go to sleep, the game will run through my head or I'll even dream of what ever game I am currently addicted to.
My boyfriend has even commented on my fingers moving as if I'm tapping the joypad and has mocked me endlessly.

Am I the only strange person who does this or does anyone else have any strange gaming addicted habits..?

Yes, i have to deal with the psychological effect of gaming all the time. I get twitches after i play the Gears games. I keep looking at corners and walls and chairs and seeing myself moving into cover, it can get pretty annoying.

I do that same thing with video games, as well as other things in life, sadly. I don't have very much self control. Fable 2 was the worst for me.

Yes. All the time. I wonder why walls don't just simply disappear, too.

I actually have dreams of being in the games I play, or characters from said games doing stuff in "Real Life." That in itself is always a trip, especially with games where you really don't want to meet any of the characters in real life.

Disgaea... dear god, this summer saw me not sleeping too much. I slept every other day so I could constantly power level to the point where I could have only a chance to beat Baal... and then I still had so much more levels to power through.

The music from the HUB world in that game was stuck in my head for a month. It did't even seem like it was in my head. I would turn a corner and here the music as if it were coming out of my PSP and the thing was nowhere in sight...

Come the end of November, when I get my PSPgo, I'll have both Disgaea 2 and Prinny CIRBTH to occupy my time... I'm not going to sleep for a while T-T

Nah, not really, although I have dreamed about being IN Team Fortress 2. Unsurprisingly, I never die.
Sometimes, I joke about things acting like games, but not in my sleep. I'd say you, the OP, have a worse case of Tetris.

I still do the unlimited arrows cheat and unlimited health cheat for Lord of The Rings Return of the King on GC every time I pick up a control. I suppose that's a weird habit, but not much like yours

I do the same as OP sometimes, playing through parts of the game I haven't beaten yet let alone know about, the story going along and me playing it in first person. Then I wake up and start actually playing the game.

nope can't say i really do that

however having it go thru your mind isn't that much of a stretch, a lot of people do this, most of the time your dreams are just reruns of the day in an odd sort of a way

Playing lots of shooters makes my reactions quick and makes me think a guy is waiting behind that corner to ambush me with an M-4.

Hey, it's better than putting that much time and thought into alcohol, drugs, TV, donkey porn, or any of the other vices we get addicted to.

Also... dear Bethesda, please can you return my life? Thanks!
