I HATED the Michael Bay Transformers movies. I have no idea why I lied to myself for soo long about. I guess I kept trying to rationalize it out of desperation for ANYTHING Transformers-wise. I am truly sorry for paying money for BOTH films.

I've been going on the assumption that the more retarded fans an anime/manga has, the worse that anime/manga is. After watching season 1 and 2 of Axis Powers Hetalia in a single sitting, I can honestly say that I was wrong and pleasantly surprised at how incredibly funny and witty it was.

I made a bet once that one of Mike Myers' lines in The Love Guru was 'split the pickle' rather than 'break the pickle' (or maybe vice versa). I bet a tub o' Ben'n'Jerrys on that.

Also I once commented that Soul Calibur 4 wasn't really guilty of skimpy female costumes, then I got shown a pic of Ivy (who I'd forgotten because I never played with/against her), cheerily admitted my error on that one.
I think that it's one of the best things to do in an argument, admit that you are wrong. It's an essential part of Socratic reasoning. Unfortunately most people are too proud to do so. They might go as far as to admit the other person is right, but ask them to admit their own mistake and they usually don't take it well.
