If someone annoys or hurts my friends I tend to go overboard and get really mad at them which usually just ends up pissing off the person I was attempting to protect. (probably doesn't help that most of my friends are guys)

I'm overly self-critical. I tend to hold myself to impossible standards, and when I fail I tend to sulk. Once I felt like an assignment wasn't going as well as it should have and deleted the files - destroying nearly 3 weeks of effort and failing the course.
Edit: Oh yeah, and I'm very bad at picking up when people flirt with me or other people, and when I eventually figure it out I get worried about them thinking I'm an ass or didn't like them. Though I tend to do that after regular conversations as well.

Likewise, except I tend to procrastinate certain tasks (mostly schoolwork) until absolutely necessary. Im also not athletic, or am I really physically fit... or in shape at all really...Ekonk said:
You didn't say "I'm the most awesome person ever to live and I have no faults" and seriously mean it, so you have more humility and a far smaller ego than many people I know. I have a horrible hatred of doing anything that could bother another person (IE I listen to my music at a low volume not to protect my hearing but to make sure no one else can hear it)
I am very non confrontational

I also am very shy which leads me not to be able to initiate conversations with people I don't know and people I don't know very well despite the fact I am an above average conversationalist
