Adobe Illustrator question

I'm fairly new to Adobe Illustrator, and I accidentally merged a few windows together. Does anyone know how to get them apart again?

In the upper right corner of the boxes, there´s two small arrows pointing left. Press them to minimize the menu. Then press and hold the icon, then drag it away to where ever you want.

how does adobe illustrator compare to..say somthing like photoshop? I supose it just specialises in....well drawing I supose?

Illustrator specializes in vector graphics, rather than raster graphics like Photoshop.
