No, I'm not going to complain about ads being in vids at all. I know they provide revenue so the Escapist can actually exist, and they're short so they don't bother me.
What does bother me is when they cut in right in the middle of something I'm watching. Because then the whole video starts over from the start. Is this just a problem with my computer or does this happen to others?

I've had it happen on other sites (not to name specifics but... Viacom subsidiaries, I'm lookin' at you), but never here. I think the latest version of Flash has some backwards compatibility issues.

Ads in the middle of the video? On this site?

Do you mean the little banners on the bottom that pop up slightly? Those never make my video restart. I just click the x icon to close them, it doesn't interrupt video for me.

No, I mean actual video ads. I got one just now trying to watch tales from table. Instead of playing before the video, it cut in about a minute in and the whole video restarted after that

I have had two ads at the start instead of one (both of them being 30 seconds long), which usually gives enough time to get up and make another cup of tea...

Also i thought this thread was gonna be a rant against Aim Down Sight gameplay... Not quite sure why
