Gold- and Silversmith, I design and make jewelry, or customize/improve small objects, like engraving watches, coating keepsakes with precious metals or gems. it's fun, it's hella expensive (which is good for me, who's getting the cash xD ) and i can determin my work hours and projects myself, i have the luxury of acception only assignments that i find interesting or atractive. i wouldn't do anything else.

sometimes, when there is no project in view that holds my interest, i work as a waitres in clubs and discos. i couldn't sit at home fomr prolonged periods, i would go insane.

Well... Adult? I'm twenty, don't know if that counts xD

I am currently in the army, doing my military service (forced) and hopefully getting a six month contract to stay and work there after that ends in January, after those six months I hope I'm getting into the PoliceAcademy.

Computer Programmer. Although I just got accepted for a masters in Network Security so I'll probably be back at school again.
You are luuckky. I'm still working on my BS in Information Security at UMCP. I cannot wait until I'm able to get a job in the field. Government preferably.
Funny, I'm aiming for government too :)

I'm working for a VERY small construction company. Company isn't exactly the right word, though. We're only 3 guys, but for now I'm making enough money to get by. Going to try to go back to school next year, though. Working outside in the snow SUCKS!

I'm currently in college (In England) studying Computers, BTEC National award System support level 3, second year, and then moving onto Foundation computing at Uni next September.

I work, 10 (ish can very between 9 and 11 depending on how busy it is) hours a week as a KP/ waiter in small cafe in the town over from where I live.

It has been tempting to look for a second job to fit around the times I'm not in college or work, but I need that time to help family and spend time with the Girlfriend.

Edit: Am also looking at picking up some voulenteering work here and there.

Currently I'm a cart pusher at Wal-Mart. I'm doing that to pay for college. I'm studying business, and I'm hoping to start my own business within the next couple of years. I figured studying business would be a good place to start while I figure out what kind of business I actually want to start.

For now I'm still stuck in retail-land >.< But I do also have a freelance social-networking thing on the side. It doesn't rake in a ton of money but it still helps.

I work for a small government agency called the US Air Force. You may or may not have heard of it.
It pays the bills, pisses a few choice people off from time to time, and generally makes me a more well-rounded person. So yea, it's not so bad.. For now :/

I'm an English teacher (or pronounced teaCHAH here) in the land of Starcraft (south korea). This isn't just a gap year thing as I have an ESL teaching certification and a quite a bit of experience. I'm going to get a masters in English to teach college foreign exchange students or look into becoming a therapist as that has been a huge interest of mine.

Everyone here is a student which makes me feel teh suck cos I dropped out of uni.
Don't feel bad mate, I went to a 'proper' college and dropped it after a little more than a year. I loved the place, but it just wasn't where I needed to be. I found a specialized school teaching just what I wanted to learn. Maybe that's an option?

OT: I stock shelves at the biggest liquor store in Jersey, but that's just a job out of necessity. I'm a professionally trained actor by choice, but it's about as easy winning the lottery as making a run at that career, but I'm only 22 so there's time.

I am starring in an Off-Off Broadway musical in Time's Square this January, so I guess that's some ray of hope. I mean, a lot of people never even get that far, right?

I work at Greggs which is a bakery/food place in the UK. It's okay because money's money.
Looking for another job because they don't have full time hours and they treat the staff like crap a lot of the time. My manager keeps 'forgetting' to pay me the extra work I usually do and it's taking the piss now.
And if I have a proper full time job I can live comfortably when I decide to move away from here.

I'm currently the supervisor for our band office's C@P Site, a public place for people who don't have internet at their houses. I also help out with people's cover letters, resumes and portfolios. I also help out with computer problems. Kind of weird even though I just had my business degree. Couldn't really find a job anything to do with business or accounting.

I work at Target at nights, taking things off of large trucks and stocking them on the shelves. It's great considering my sleep schedule and I'm apparently a top performer which could hopefully lead to a better paying leadership position of some sort. In about 5 years I see myself using vacation days to catch up with the games I'll be buying from Amazon and the store. It's good for now and I have no idea what else I would want to do professionally.
