Ok, 3 things from the get go, this isn't a review, I know I'm late to the party and if you haven't seen it or won't see it don't be posting slating it.
Right, just want to know who else has seen the complete version? I watched the original again just before Christmas and thought, this would look awesome on blu ray, then saw the complete version with "37 minutes" of extra footage.
OK, the graphics for the scenes has left me completely lost for words, seeing Midgar overgrown in HD was, jaw dropping, I couldn't and still can't find the words to how good the places look fully rendered in HD.
Now those 37 minutes, they're spread out pretty well, sometimes they come on for a few seconds, other sequences are a good 3-4 minutes long. But they all add quite a bit, if you're like me you first watched Advent Children on youtube, with someones limp translation of the script for subs, then brought the DVD and thought, "wow this actually makes more sense" well it's the same again, the stigma is more than a discoloured rash here, with vomiting and dark liquid flowing from the skin, it's also explained slightly more on the radio in 7th Heaven, on top of that, Denzel gets a bit of back story rather than just appearing out of the blue and sticking around.
It's difficult to put across why I've started a thread, I'm excited watching it, like a little boy on his first FF7 play through back when the PSX came out, I'm like that store owner in Family Guy, I think I just want to know if anyone else out there thinks it's awesome!
