Now, I'm not quite sure where to put this, but on an old board I used to frequent, there was a large percentage of tabletop D&D players. And for them, being a D&D'er myself with a modicum of MSPaint talent, I made a comic. Since I've seen quite a few players here in the 'Scapist, I figured I'd share them with you.

I have over 50 issues currently backlogged, and if I get enough interest, I will put up more, continuing to make more if we finish the run and people still clamor for it.

Bear in mind, the early issues are my first attempts at a comic, and you can see my progression as we move on. I actually encourage feedback, however, and have pretty thick skin, so say what you feel.

Also, if this isn't the place for this, I beg the mod's mercy and ask them to correct me in anyway necessary.

Anyways, that said, let's begin with the first 10 issue run of... Adventure, HO!

Issue 1

Issue 2

Issue 3

Issue 4

Issue 5

Issue 6

Issue 7

Issue 8

Issue 9

I get better, I promise. This was a first attempt, after all. But thanks for the critique, regardless. No killing necessary. ^_^

Meh, it was alright. This is pretty much self-promotion you do realize.
I was worried about it being perceived as that, but I'm not trying to get interweb famous or make any money or even direct attention to a website I don't have. It was more of a 'critique this' kind of thing.

Though like I said in my OP, I'm sorry if this is frowned upon and encourage mods to do whatever they feel is necessary. No hard feelings, of course.

It was alright actually, me being a big AD&D player and all.
Thanks. ^_^ You're kind of the target audience here, with a lot of in-jokes, so I'm glad to see someone who plays D&D likes it.

I know. This was back when my typing reflected how people spoke more than adhering to proper grammar and spelling (plus, you can't spell check MSPaint, heh). Like I said, these were my first foray into comic-making. And the creativity goes through the roof after they get into the caves proper.

But thanks for the critique! ^_^

Thanks. ^_^

Well, I guess since you asked...
Issue 11

Issue 12
Hmm... When I think of this more, I am actually confused. In issue 4 you more or less define the girl to be the ho, so is the title of the series about the girl? "Adventure ho" vs. "Adventure, ho" *giggles like a little girl behind his hands*

Oh, no, no, no. That was just a joke on the colloquial speech of a pimp. That issue was actually a shout out to a friend from the forums I mentioned. He called all females hoes. In fact, 'hoe' was pretty much a descriptor for anything for that guy, as he fashioned himself as the American PIMP.

I'm afraid the title here is pretty basic. 'Adventure, HO!' refers to adventure ahead. ^_^

That was a very interesting read, having played D&D myself i can get some of the jokes you put in there and had a few chuckles. I say arrange your speech a bubbles to be a bit more symmetrical. Otherwise you have a fine comic here.

Much appreciated, good sir. ^_^

Yeah, I had issues with them early on (no pun intended), but I like to think I got better as I went on. I even changed the format of the strip for a while.

A xenophobic comic strip. Quite possibly the worst use of a Canadian stereotype.
You know, typically we laugh at them, but this didn't even make sense.
