I don't know about you but I enjoy going to the cinema. The other day I got into watch a film early and waited though all the adverts for coke, cars, car insurance, phones and I thought to my self I just payed about £5 for this ticket...why do I have to watch these adverts.

Now I kind of get the film adverts, they get you in to spend more money in the future but the regular adverts. Surly they are getting enough money from the tickets and pop corn. Its not like I just went into the cinema and payed a pound or something and snakes are cheap.

What do you think? If you pay for a ticket and possibly over priced snakes, should they force regular adverts on you?...Or when you go to see a movie do you just go in 20 minuets later than the show time and skip the adverts all together.

I go in when the movie's supposed to start, just to be safe. But there are way too many commercials, though; when I went to see X-men: The Last Stand I asked for some of my money back because of all the ads. Not that I got any money, but it wasn't about dem greenbacks, it was about making a point.

I find the ad roll before movies obnoxious, but hey, whatever keeps the theatres afloat.

You're a captive audience, those ads are worth an ASSTON of money.

And anyone who arrives after the posted showtime of a movie deserves to be barred from the theatre. Nothing is more aggravating than having people still trickling in (and walking in front of the screen) after the lights have gone down.

Ads don't really bother me - they give you a chance to talk with your friends before the movie starts.

I don't mind them at all.

I liked how the ones in my area used to play modern TV shows and Cartoons before the movie played. Sad that they got rid of it though.

I don't see the big deal about them, they aren't that annoying, and you can talk to your neighbors (Which is usually friends) about things without getting shushed at.

I don't mind them really, means I have less chance of missing the start of the movie.

What I do hate however is the dvd's that force you to watch about 5 anti-piracy adverts before being allowed to control it. Telling off the people who bought the dvd is kinda missing the target audience.

I used to love one for Jewelry barn Pawn Shop, because it was dancing Santa.

Other than that, I don't care.
They cause me no harm, as I rarely bother to care about what an Ad has to say to begin with, so why let them get under my skin just because they're on a bigger screen?

Besides, I hate when people trickle in, especially if they do it during Previews.
Such a pain to think "I've got most of the Theatre to myself, goody" just to see them pour in when the movie starts, and you cannae change seats if one of them blocks your view, because you'll block someone else's view while you're up.
