EDIT: Fixed broken link

I'm a long time lurker on the Escapist, and I'm building a new rig (completely new everything, roughly $1500 is max). Here's what I'm looking at for the moment.

+
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.622007

Total is 1401 including taxes(dang you CA) and shipping.

I'm considering changing the PSU to this Antec: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371021&cm_re=antec_650-_-17-371-021-_-Product

I need a decent keyboard/mouse, and I'm probably going to pick up a headset as well.

I'm also quite wary on the case, which was recommended to me. I must say, it seems ridiculously large at 23x9x22.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I can't see your first link; can you take a screenshot or list them out.

But yeah, the i5 2500k and P8P67 pro are good parts, and Antec makes decent PSUs, but with a budget of $1500 I would go modular.

EDIT: Okay, your build looks good. Also yeah, the HAF 932 is big, but it gives you a lot of airflow and cable management.

This may be me showing my age (... Just realized that I'm only 28 and can somehow say that with no sarcasm or misleading narrative) but as for the keyboard/mouse thing, I would recommend going retail. Find some soon-to-be out of business retailer (in this economy, that shouldn't be hard) and you'll probably find what you're looking for with a great discount. That's usually what I do when building a rig for a client.
