Afro Samurai

So here's the deal, I'm on a quest to find a decent hack-n-slash for a reasonable amount of cash. I've heard and seen a couple of videos about this particular game, yet I can't exactly make up my mind. Here's where you come in, I'm not so sure about this game, so could anyone recommend a decent game at best that involves the same mechanics?

For my second question, was Afro Samurai any good?

Keep in mind that I'm not exceeding 20$ here and yes, I've played the DMC series,

Watch the show instead, then play No More Heroes. If that doesn't work then Afro Samurai is decent. Really short, though. And the rope cutting bits are frustrating.

I would really not even consider it if I were you the game plays okay but it's so bare bones it's painful 6ish hours, there's really nothing to do after you finish it one big meh.

I would however watch the anime it's excellent and I don't like anime you'll have alot more fun and can probably pick up a DVD of it for Penny's on Amazon or something. Plus Samuel L Jackson nuff said.

Not sure what platform you're on but the best hack and slash for current gen was probably Ninja Gaiden by vast margins.
