Okay, recently I have run out of aftershave and because I go through duty free (because of me being on holiday) I can get aftershave for less because I don't have to pay tax
So...
For the male Escapists: Which aftershave would you recommend me?
For the Female Escapists: Which aftershave do you prefer on men?

Also this gets the search bar seal of approvement

I don't use aftershave, I think it's horrible and stinky and the girls I've dated don't like it either.

I'm allergic to just about everything so I use Gilette's Aloe Vera moisturising balm stuff.

Well, I know very few guys that actually wear aftershave so it doesn't really matter to me. My grandfather wore (wears) Old Spice so I do love that.

The kind that doesn't set your face on fire...oh wait...
You are the height of usefulness but in all honesty if you do buy some that sets your face on fire, you get used to it

So long as it doesn't smell bad and isn't too overpowering.
Although not many guys I know use aftershave, most of them use those Lynx sprays and they smell nice.

I use diesel and tht smells nice :)
I tried using petrol once, it didn't end well.
(I understand that diesel is a type of scent, yes).

I tend not to own aftershave though, but I'm partial to the smell of Lynx Africa deodrent if that helps.

This about actual aftershave, as in a moisturizer, of Eau de Cologne a.k.a. smell spray for a good night out?
If the latter, personally I have:
CK One - Nice, not to old man or fruity. A simple, 'can't go wrong' aftershave
Joop - Slightly more fruity, but not questionably so.
Burberry - More spicy than some, but not too much so.
Davidoff Cool Water - All out winner with the ladies. Great mix of subtle yet spicy. I'd recommend every guy to have a bottle of this aftershave.

That'll change in a few years, guaranteed. And when it does, make sure you have a good bottle on the side waiting =p
Why will it change in a few years? I'm 35.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, it would be nice to see some female input but I have some ideas now which is what I really wanted from this thread
Hell there are over 100 different aftershaves to choose from and I have no idea where to start

Nautica has an after shave lotion that not only smells good, it wont leave your skin feeling like its on fire. But, if you want an after shave that smells really really good and dont mind your skin being on fire, then try Escape for men by Calvin Klein.

for day to day stuff get anything you like that is cheap, its just a day to day thing, in fact i've been wearing Brut which is known to smell of garbage but i've been complemented several times on my choice of aftershave.... its one of those hype machines going into the opposite direction. Quite strange.

For special occassions get Theirry Mugler's "A Men", he's an actual Perfumerist so he knows his stuff, about 70 pounds a bottle
http://www.thierrymugler.com/

Or maybe Channel's Egoist, thats a good one, just don't tell anyone.

I also recommend Declaration by Dior.

oh and to make the smell last longer you have to layer it, so aftershave balm, moisterize the the aftershave.

This, but the bit in bold was edited because I slightly disagree...

Well I know it's a little bit sexist but being a girl, what aftershaves do you like on guys?

Um, I've never really noticed what aftershave a guys wearing. I never really have that much real life contact with anyone, so...
