Sit down and listen to my tale. I was linked that Agar browser game a week back, first I scoffed at it, seemed much too simple. Yet I kept playing it for a couple lives every now and then, today I finally hit the #1 spot on the server.
'Tis was a hard and bloody fight but I had finally managed to claw my way to be the biggest cell on the server. Of course I immediately devoured a couple of my competitors so noone would dare challenge my might.
Alas I soon grew tired of this power, I sought after new challenges. Then something caught my eye, a tiny cell named Doge that was being harassed by other, much bigger cells. I quickly shot out enough mass to Doge so they could defend themselves. What happened next, melted my icy cold heart.
The little cell that could, started to follow me. I was thankful for the company so I fed Doge enough cells to stay safe from all but the most difficult of enemies. We would roam the map, Doge would feed on those they could while I stood watch over the bigger ones.
Alas, Doge's hunger for power consumed themselves and tried to devour me, the King of the server while I was weakened.
I fought harder than I had in years to repel Doge's attacks so I could regroup. After seeing the error in their ways Doge remained loyal to my cause. But the fight had left me weary and tired. My old age had finally caught up to me and I could feel Death's cold breath on my neck. I had to make the final decision on who to give my cells to.
Left unattended the other cells would wage wars over my mass and the lesser folk would suffer. I only had one option, to give all of my mass to Doge and hope they had learned humility and honour. Just like I had a lifetime ago. I cut my mass in two, then in four, then in eight and finally in 16 pieces so Doge could feed on them.
As my final mass was devoured by Doge I whispered to them "No king rules forever.".
Have you played Agar.io and what have your reactions been? I think it's the first game I'd try and play as often as possible in short bursts, on the bus or on the toilet.
