No, I'm not talking about porn. However, I just read about the new Ninja Gaiden game coming out, and decided to take a look at the website (not really a huge fan of Ninja Gaiden, but thought I'd take a look anyway). When I got to the website, it contained the required 'Enter age to view website' where you put your birth date. Now, being 18 (a legal adult), you'd think you'd be able to even look at the game online right? Wrong. The website told me that I am not allowed to view this site.

Seriously? So I can buy the game no problem but if I want to look at it online suddenly the game is too mature for me? Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Living in Australia means that even if I was say, 30, I'd be unable to legally purchase or play games such as Second Life. Or I will be if the planned internet censorship goes through. Must protect the children, don't you know. They go on Second Life to have sinful sex all the time, don't you know. It annoys the hell out of me.

I'm not a fan of censorship in any way shape or form even if it's someone saying something I dislike. This may come as somewhat of a surprise, and an apparently hypocritical one to people who disapprove of the moderation on this site but let me put it to you like this: Say what you like, just not here and I wouldn't recommend profile-linked Twitters either.
