Recently I've become slightly obssesed with pirates and I was wondering if the Escapists know any good pirate games. I'd prefer something with decent grapics and gameplay please.

Pretty much, unless you want to delve into the Pirates of the Caribbean offering. No promises there though.

Wait. Monkey Island series.

The Monkey Island series of adventure games are nice and piratey... Though they're more puzzle/story oriented and there isn't much action.
