Avast ye sorry landlubbin dogs, Talk Like a Pirate Day be in only 2 weeks.

Do ye have any celebratin' to do, or are ye gonna walk the plank?

(Tranlastion: So, International Talk Like a Pirate Day is coming up in 2 weeks (September 19). With that in mind, is anyone planning on celebrating the day with pirate-themed fooling around?)

I'm disinclined to do it on that specific day. It makes it less fun the other times I and chums randomly burst into dialect and spout nonesense at each other. It's a bit less exciting, if you see what I mean.

I'm not doing anything more than uttering Y'ARR to my roommates and random people. I will also send my friend Matt a happy b-day message.

I already talk like a pirate at work. It really throws people off when I say thing like, "Aye, there be lumber down thar." and "'Ere there be a socket wrench!"

Nyarf!
Uh..I mean. Yaaarp.
No.
My friend wore a pirate hat for the duration of today. Luckily, he spent most of it at a gaming convention, where that sort of thing is considered the norm. He's even worse at pirate-talk than I am, so he opted for looking like a pirate.

aarr. bein a pirate ninja hybrid 'be much betder than just one
That defeats the whole point of being a Pirate, after all, the only thing that makes a Pirate, is their look, sound, and occasionally, smell

None of which a Ninja wants
