What if they had a team up?
What if somehow Scully got infected with Gamma Rays at precisely the right time the aliens decided to invade? That could be one of the greatest crossovers in history.

First reaction? "Well there goes the neighbourhood."

Then i'd realize that Humans are one of the most, if not the most warlike and adaptive species. Meaning we'd prolly steal their gear and just fight back until either they leave, are all dead or we are wiped out.

In fact i doubt that if they are hostile, they'd try to negotiate, or we'd go for peace if they showed any hostile intent.

As the good Doctor once put it. "Run, for the real Monsters are coming. Humans." ;P

There is absolutely no way that we would have any chance in hell against them. If they had the technology to travel here with an invasion fleet any engagement against them would be equivalent to a group of angry farmers from the middle ages charging a squad of highly trained soldiers with air support and tanks.

I would ask the aliens if they need help enslaving the human race. You can all get yourselves killed in a mad fight for liberty but I intend to check if the aliens have discovered eternal youth first.

the world would be chaos with all army's being obliterated (lets face it, if they can get here and are "Invading" they could wipe us out easy), I would put on my tin foiled hat find a good vantage point and suck on a pacifier while watching the world burn.

walk towards them, i figure if they can get here and they wanted us dead we wouldn't even know about them before the wiped out a good majority of humanity and those of us that are left basically end up enslaved or killed over the next week or so, so why bother running lets see what i can learn as a slave

I seriously doubt they would kill the Earth's entire population in order to inhabit a planet that likely requires terraforming, not to mention the centuries of infrastructure that they likely would be incompatible with.

But what if they're go the Combine route? That is, use humanity as a slave labor, forcing us to literally terraform our own planet to suit their need. You'd spend the rest of your life in an increasingly hostile world, never knowing whether or not you'd be abducted next day, to be converted into a drone.

Work my way up the genocidal alien corporate ladder. I mean seriously, those guys have laser guns!
