Alien vs Predator 2 Vista Compatability

I was thinking of buying the gold edition of this game but because I use Vista will it be able to run or am I out of luck?

my laptop handles AvP2 just fine with vista and a 8600M

DOS box can run the game just fine, I used to play it on Vista. I never tried to play the game without DOS box, so I'm not sure if it can run without it. But if you know how to use DOS Box the game should run just fine.
