I have a problem with Aliens Vs Predator 2, released very very very long ago by Sierra.
Two of the alternate vision modes (Predtech for the Predator and Echolocation for the Alien) display nothing but a black screen complete with HUD when selected. This impacts the Predator campaign not a jot but it fucks the Alien right in the arse at Facehugger stage when you are required to find your way through a completely black ventilation shaft with the ability to stick to walls. I decided to tough it out and just charged through, seeing my orientation arrows flicker from one side of the screen to another like fireflies on acid until I emerged blinking into the daylight of the same room I was previously in.
Fuck.
Can anyone out there with a wealth of gaming wisdom help me with this?
For some background info, I'm playing on an Acer laptop that runs the game on max sets lag-free and have Windows XP. I've reinstalled the game and have patched it to the latest version.
Any suggestions?
