Hello escapist, Pegghead here.

Wow-ee, 2000 posts. You know what that means

Anywho now that I've treated you to the smooth sounds of Kool and the gang for this momentous occasion I want to get to the point of this.

Expectations, you know what I mean. Stereotypes, hopes, stigmas and all that jazz. It seems that as the times roll on we all get them, they often become changed, re-arranged and/or rendered strange but I want to know what some of your prevalent ones are, how some of the most prevalent ones have formed and what ones people here and in real life may associate with you, or anything else you'd enjoy bringing to the table under the name of epectations.

Oh yes and just for the record I never expected I'd do so many posts...even though 200 isn't much in the scheme of things...but hey, I think it's cool.

I always wear black. People freak out when I wear colours. It's amusing.
I always wear a jacket ('cept when it's too hot.) Yes, the jacket is black.
If you get to know me well enough, you'll find I'm insane.

Speaking of lots of posts, I never thought I'd get to 1k but hell... I'm so close to 3k now. I blame fun user groups.

I study law and criminology. The majority of people, upon learning this, especially older folk, start talking like they are experts on the subject because they've had some sort of run in with crime. Look people, having your bike nicked does not mean you know more about a subject than a student who has studied it for 3 fucking years!

I had long hair for about ten years, quite a few people don't recognize me. I always wear black shirts and blue jeans, the only time I don't is when I'm in my uniform for my culinary classes.

Oh boy stereotypes...well let me say I'm 15, I'm Male, I have long hair, I'm a Laveyan Satanist, I listen to Metal, I play videogames, I watch anime, I'm interested and relatively educated on technology.......so people think a lot of things about me that are not exactly true. People seem to think I'm unintelligent, anti-social, angry, and otherwise emotionless. The list really just goes on, however I stopped caring how people stereotype me long ago.

So there's my stereotype rant, and congratulations on 2000 posts.(I suppose?)

Being on the jock side of the spectrum my whole life, people are actually shocked to know that I even have an xbox. One girl was aghast at the fact that I "even knew what a Halo was"
