Dark Lager Heinikin is amazing... Like Arrogant BASTARD HERE IN CALIFORNIA..Dark, dark beer, but sweeter :)
That brimstone one you guys have is pretty nice too, it's a shame USA gets a bad rap for its beer because it's actually not true!!
Blue moon is pretty big out there, that's nice too.

Thought this might have been an Alestorm thread. : c

I only drink very occasionally so I probably don't have many good suggestions. (I'm buzzed and giggling after roughly three wine coolers, so yeah >.>)

Have some Alestorm anyway. : D
YAY! Glad somebody posted some Alestorm! Have some more:
OT: Badger Ales are a damned good brew, old boy. Though my favourite breweries are Wychwood (particularly their Wychcraft ale) and Otley Brewing Co. Otley are a micro from South Wales, they own three pubs around my old uni, so I managed to sample quite a few of their brews. Nice range, everything from a light golden to fulfilling porters. Definitely recommended.

I tend to drink my beers refrigerated, I really want to drink a good English Ale at a warmer temperature. Never really gotten around to doing it and I want to rectify this.

Sidenote:

Imperial Stouts are omnom.

Indian pale ale is, I think, just a name of a certain brand of ales/beers.
although named Indian pale ale it was first brewed in England in the 19th century.

speaking of Indian, in the local Indian resturaunt where I live they have kingfisher on tap, now that's a good beer!

No idea about that brand thingy.
I heard from the person who introduced me to IPA that they tested it in a few pubs back in England, it was meant to be sent to India (hence the name) to the troops in war there. They needed to have a beer that would last the trip but they couldn't just send some shit so they needed to try it.
Well in the end the English liked it so much that they never sent it but just made more to sell in the pubs. I don't know if this is true but entertaining story to say the least :p

Hmm, I'm Canadian, so I'm not too sure what help I'd be. We're not too well stocked with actual English brews over here although a couple of years ago, I seem to recall that there was a beer called Spitfire. It had a nice flavour to it and I'd really like to get some more but it seems to be discontinued. Can you guys confirm/deny this?

I wish that there was a bigger Craft Beer scene like America in other countries.

American craft seems to be overlooked in my opinion - yes, there is an abundance of IPAs, presumably because they're easier to brew but im glad that there are so many small companies making what they love. AFAIK, in country's like Germany/England where there is a massive Beer Culture, there seems to be much more of an emphasis on Traditional and Historic breweries rather than small Micro Breweries. That's the impression I have at least.

Most of my all time favourite beers come from America and Japan Micros.

Well the thing is... we have maybe 3 different kinds and the rest is imported :p
Our own ales are basically: Reindeer piss, Bear piss and water with some nasty shit taste in it.
If there's one thing we Finns do wrong it's making beer! Well we have one named "Sandels" which some seem to think is quite OK but compared to good beer and ale we, quite frankly, suck!
Then if we go to 30% alc or more, spirits so to say, well then we're talking :D
