How could i come to this? The first Spiderman movie was an execellent example of superhero extravaganza, with an even better sequel. Spiderman 2 was one helle of a ride, where the story were much more interesting than I'v ever imagined, and the whole atmosphere just caught the Spiderman franchise in it's web. But then something odd happened along the way, and by the time number 3 came out, the web must have broke or something. The story was top notch, but bad acting, stupid behavior of the characters and no respect for the Spiderman franchise, made this movie a wierd experience to watch. One moment Spiderman was flying through the air, with his same old habbit of making tricks in even the most dangerous of events. The next we see, is Peter Parker acting 10 years old, when he talks about himself all the time and want everybodt to know about him. Some of the matureness that I loved about film number 2, only showed in small parts of the movie, and the whole "choice" thingy, just dropped down on the floor with a big "BANG!".

What are your thoughts about Spiderman?

I think the problem with the third one was too many villains; they'd been building up harry as the new goblin, but then they chuck in 2 other guys and the goblin idea was half-arsed.

I think they should of kept the parts with Spiderman getting the black suit (but being an arse hole not a child when he has it) and then it moving on to venom, and followed through better with Harry and Peter fighting each other, with the black suit moving on to make it harder for Peter. The Sandman seemed pointless and irrelevant to me.

Not to mention that Venom was the big selling point of the movie (he's one of the baddest villains ever) but he was only in the movie for the last 10 minutes. Plus he wasn't anything like the Venom I wanted to see.

First one was good, Second was great, Third was a clusterfuck.

Spiderman 3 had too many villains. If it were me, I'd have stuck with Venom to set up a sequel with Carnage, and maybe kept the New Goblin thing. Sandman would have made a better villain on his own, really.

Oh, and Tobey Maguire's acting wasn't overly great in the third film either, which put me off slightly as well.

Pretty much my oppinion. Should have made the third movie smaller and more simple. The second one was clearly the best.
