Alpha Protocol delay: update, Sort of...

Last night, Matthew Rorie, one of the Obsidian developers (presumably) working on alpha protocal posted this to a thread on the Obsidian forums regarding the delay:

Hey all,

Sorry that we've been quiet this week. Hopefully everyone understands that we (Obsidian) can't talk about this much at this point, one way or the other. Just wanted to say that we appreciate your patience, and that hopefully we'll be able to talk about all this at some point soon.

It's not outright confirmation of the delay, but it does indicate that something is going on with SEGA, that has them unable to comment. Combined with all inquiries by the gaming press being routed to SEGA reps, it does seem to indicate that SEGA has probably delayed the title and then instructed Obsidian not to discuss it.
