You ever wonder how the bosses in Zelda feel after some kid breaks into their home, kills their babies, steals their life savings and pokes them in the eye with a pointy stick?

Sometimes.

I sometimes wonder how the Space Pirates from Metroid view the world.

Maybe they are just an intelligent species looking to make new discoveries...and then along comes Samus [http://images.encyclopediadramatica.com/images/f/fd/Abitchissamus.jpg]

Those Splicers are just looking for some ADAM and then some dick comes out of nowhere and lights them on fire. Talk about a social faux pas. (Is that how you spell that?)

Or think of anyone ever that has met Kratos. There they are, minding their own business; and the next minute they have their head ripped off by an angsty prick.

This isn't a gaming example but my faourite SF author, Mike Resnick, once wrote a short story about what Robin Hood's mother thought about her son's career choice. It was called Mrs. Hood Unloads, and it's quite funny.

what about in prototype? That soldier you consumed just to get past unnoticed? When he clocked off that day he was going to bring home that gaming console his son had been begging for since christmas.

How about every innocent villager in almost every RPG ever?

"Oh hi hero, have you come to save - hey! that's my stuff, quit taking all our possessions, we need those, that's my last 12 gold in that chest! you bastard, I hope the dragon eats you!"
