Alternate interpretations is when you think that a character's origin or something of the like is different than what is said (roughly).
For example, one alt. interpretation would be that the band in Metalocalypse, Dethklok, are not lovably inept musicians but Cthullu-like cosmic horrors that genuinely don't understand how things work on Earth.
What are some of your alt. interpretations on stuff?

Mine are that The Boss from MGS3 is a necromancer and that The Cobras are actually the reincarnated spirits of the real Cobras that died in WWII and that Ocelot is actually a sympathetic character that double-crosses so many people that he doesn't have a real personality.
