I have two questions for the escapist.
1. What's your preferred browser?
[Firefox,IE, etc]

2. If you use firefox, what do you think of Firefox Persona's?

I ask because I think IE is inferior, but from what I hear there are even better browsers than firefox. I'm a loyal firefox user though, and I want to know about your guys' opinions on the matter.

Plus I'd like to know if I'm the only one with a damned persona.

here's mine btw =]

Opera all the way, much nicer looking than any other browser in my opinion and it has quite a large community for addons etc, its also really functional with lots of gadgets and other stuff...you can also have more speed dial buttons on your homepage, google chrome has 9 but with opera you can have any number you want to.

I use Firefox but no add ons, but my boyfriend thinks that Firefox has to many updates because so many people try to hack it. So he stopped using Firefox and now uses Opera (Sp) I believe.

I use fox with ColourfulTabs. That's it really. My room-mate uses a horrible garish mish-mash of themes and tools, from radio to link previews. It's really hard to use her browser.

Google Chrome, simply because the interface is slick as (pretty much identical to Safari), and Firefox keeps hanging up on my PC.

Browser hierarchy: Google Chrome > Internet explorer > Firefox > Safari. (Not sure where opera factors in, I am told it is the fastest available but I have no experience with it personally)

I like plain old vanilla Firefox, with just a sprinkling of Download Status Bar to get rid of the annoying downloads window.

It's really not that hard to do, you don't need discs or anything like that, just google Firefox and go on their site, there should be an option to download it.

I'm a fan of IE but have been using Firefox for the last 2.5 years or so. Hundred bucks says that when I go back to the blue E, I will be incredibly disappointed.

Chrome.

It bottles the mind how people still use Opera or IE... Mozilla Firefox is okay, but I prefer the speed of Chrome. Add-ons are for lazy people.

Google Chrome. My sister uses IE with about 100 different toolbars and such, and it drives me up the wall. I use Chrome as it has a minimalist interface. I have used Firefox, and love all the cool addons you can get that I thought I couldn't live without, but it turns out I can and there's less loading time. I do some web development, and so have all the major browsers installed on my PC to test cross-platform compatibility, and I like Chrome the best.

However I probably use my PS3's browser the most.

Chrome for windows and Firefox for Linux. The Google team haven't made a Linux version of Chrome yet (although they tell me their working on it). The only thing that gets me about Firefox is that is it's less tab friendly than Chrome; I like my tabs.
