Hooray! I bought Simcity this morning had it download while i was at work and low and behold thanks to the games lovely DRM scheme i cannot play it. The only servers that i can actually connect to are the oceanic servers which are apparently unable to load the tutorial mission which is mandatory and totally unskippable. The "workaround" on EA's forums is to wait for them to fix it. Some workaround. This means I CANNOT PLAY THE GAME WHATSOEVER. If this isn't fixed by tomorrow i'm going to get my money back cause this is some grade A bull.
This is not how you treat your customers. I'm sure there are people out there right now happily playing their pirated version of the game while i'm sitting here sixty dollars poorer and extremely pissed off contemplating never buying another EA title again.
