Maybe to show your apart of a large organization of people uniting against the mutation of horses ... or maybe the exact opposite and pro mutation of horses to increase there intellegence and ability to walk up right!?!?!

So, basically, we're still in the dark ages here (hey, last Power Rangers until this month we got on PayTV here was SPD (2005) in 2007 on Fox8, Mystic Force through RPM was on one of the Seven/Prime D-FTA channels, now we've got Samurai (2011) on Nick not even 6 months behind the US airings).

Eh, they still haven't shown all of "H2O: Just add water" in Australia yet, putting it about 2 years behind places like the UK. It was created in Australia by an Australian company with its own Australian TV channel. At least with K9, it was a co-production with the BBC...and rubbish.

Funny you should mention K9, it's on Cartoon Network on Thursday evenings here.

Disney basically stiffed Aus on Power Rangers after buying-out Saban/Fox Family in 2001 (mid way through filming for Wild Force for 2002), then Fox Kids (where PR was being aired) died after 2003, so Ninja Storm (2004-05 airing here), Dino Thunder (2005-06 airing) and SPD (2006-07 airing) were on Fox8 before Fox8 lost the show and Seven/Prime got it for their (fledgling at the time) Digital-FTA network.
Now Saban's got the reigns back (he bought the show back mid-2010 and started work on Samurai) we're less than 6 months behind the American premiere of the episodes.

Yes, it's what happens when a very talented team sets out to make a great television show out of an insipid, vomit-inducingly cute franchise. And it's awesome. Watch it, and reserve final judgement for a few episodes. It's really good.
