I have to say i like to pride myself on keeping up with the latest anime but i have yet to see any miniature horses that have caught my eye.

I was just as confused when "the great oddness" began. So I asked a PHD Psychologist just what was really "up." In their opinion, just as it's natural for any child trying to piece together their real place in the Multiverse, while doing that it's also natural to rebel and if your parents are dark, angsty, hopeless, or disaffected what would be attractive to you as an idea?

As a parting thought Is Friendship really Magic? No...no that's Math. I have to admit though......the only other place you will find a comparable phenomenon is in a C.S. Lewis novel.

I can assure you it is not. Equestria Daily is closing in on 19 million pageviews, and it's just a fansite. And on a more personal note, the only fanfiction I have ever read is Friendship is Magic fanfiction.

Ok it's not utter crap, but it IS ponies, and it stil does appeal to little girls.

You're right in part. With any following a trend has, there are people who honestly like it, the people who love it and are obsessed with it, and the people who are just following it for it's own sake. It's never 100% in any of those directions though.

It's an over-rated (imo) cartoon.

Spoiler: This is much better, imo.

AT and MLP are both good cartoons, but AT has a level of psychosis far beyond MLP (or any other modern show for that matter). I happen to enjoy both of them.
